Ms. Crescenzo has been a member of the Poe Center School for over 15 years. During that time, she has served in a variety of roles, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade, as well as Social Studies to grades K-5. Receiving her BS in PLSC and Sociology from Binghamton University, her MsED from Long Island University, and her MsEDL from Lehman College. She is a teacher leader with the National Writing Project, completing her fellowship in 2013. The creator and facilitator of the Poe Center Writing Club, and a frequent presenter at various annual conferences. Her expertise and certifications include Project Based Learning, School Based Mentoring, Teacher Leadership, and is currently pursuing her National Board Certification in literacy. In her spare time, she can be found knitting, reading, and blogging about education and teacher support.
